Lesley Stahl has been a 60 Minutes correspondent since March 1991. This year marks her 21st season on the show. Stahl started her career in Washington as a Whitehouse correspondent for CBS. Since then, she has interviewed former Vice President Al Gore and former French President Nicolas Sarkozy among other top officials. 2010 took her to the Middle East to report on the state of Iraq and the Israel-Palestine conflict. Her coverage there garnered her praise from the Overseas Press Club for Best Interpretation on International Affairs. During her tenure at CBS she has moderated on Face the Nation, anchored on America Tonight, and hosted 48 Hours Investigates.
