Rebecca Luker is frequently seen in leading roles on Broadway, and is equally known for her interpretations of music, old and new, at Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress and the White House. On Broadway, she was last seen in Mary Poppins as Winifred Banks (Tony nomination.) Other credits include Marian, the librarian, in The Music Man (Tony, Drama Desk & Outer Critics Circle Award nominations), Maria in The Sound Of Music (Outer Critics Circle nomination), Magnolia in Showboat (Tony nomination), Lily in The Secret Garden (Drama Desk Nomination); Christine in The Phantom Of The Opera; X (The Life And Times Of Malcolm X) and Brigadoon with City Opera.

Her symphony appearances include the Royal Stockholm and London Symphonies. Luker made her New York solo concert debut at Lincoln Center in the American Songbook Series, and went on to win a Bistro Award for her cabaret show at Feinstein’s at the Regency. Her new album, Greenwich Time, features the work of mostly unknown composers. The legendary Barbara Cook described Luker’s performance of one song in one word: “extraordinary.”
