Scientific Sail: Under the Stars

Saturday, June 4, 2016
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Raise the sails (and a glass or two) as you embark on a stunningly beautiful sail aboard the Mystic Whaler schooner with the World Science Festival. Marine ecologist Merry Camhi and underwater photographer Keith Ellenbogen are on deck to lead experiments with acoustic and satellite tags used to monitor sharks and rays. Capture underwater images and earn your sea legs during this evening expedition of New York Harbor.
