Think you’re on a hot streak? Become an athletics analytics expert with Tim Chartier, Davidson College math professor and frequent sports show contributor, including ESPN’s Sports Science. Rank players and create the best sports brackets through mathematical modeling and probability games–you just might be able to predict your favorite team’s next big win!

Note: This is a student-only program for kids in the 6th-8th grade. Parents/Guardians should drop off their children for this one-hour event.

Tim Chartier is a mathematician and author whose work regularly appears in the Huffington Post Science blog. In 2014, he was named the inaugural Math Ambassador of the Mathematical Association of America. He is on the advisory council for MoMath, the first museum of mathematics in the U.S.
