Christina Macchiarola is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications at the World Science Festival. She oversees the creation and execution of institutional, digital and live event marketing strategies.
Previously, Christina was the Director of Marketing for BFV Management, where she developed brand strategy initiatives for multiple theatrical ventures including Feinstein’s/54 Below (Broadway’s Supper Club), STOMP, and the Commercial Theater Institute. Prior to BFV, Christina spent three years on the New Victory Theater marketing team, where she created media plans and spearheaded the organization’s cross-promotional efforts with other cultural institutions and local businesses. Christina has also worked for the Business & Legal Affairs / HR departments at Disney Theatrical Group, and with the marketing team for the musical WICKED.
She received her MFA in Theatre Management and Producing from Columbia University’s School of the Arts, and graduated summa cum laude with her BA in English from the College at Columbia University. When she’s not going to the theater or baking, Christina loves trying new and crazy fitness trends (her current favorite: cycle karaoke!)
