Allison Curran serves as the senior manager of institutional giving at the World Science Festival where she is responsible for grant-writing and soliciting foundation and government sources of support. Previously, Allison served as development manager at the “I Have A Dream” Foundation – New York, an afterschool program for children living in low-income communities where she handled all of the organization’s fundraising and marketing initiatives. Prior to “I Have A Dream,” she worked for three years at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts as a member of the Institutional Relations team, serving as key grant writer for public and classical music programming. She holds a Masters in Arts Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Theater and Performance Studies from Georgetown University. She enjoys crossword puzzles, singing, and going to plays.
