WSF video content is distributed under a Creative Commons (CC) 3.0 license. Anyone is free to distribute WSF videos using the sharing features built-in to the WSF player, provided that this use is within the terms of the CC license “Attribution —NonCommercial — NonDerivative.”
You can republish or embed WSF video content on your website or blog, reproduce, distribute, display, or perform publicly WSF videos, as long as you follow these guidelines:
- Attribution: That WSF is clearly referenced as the original source of the materials, and that the World Science Festival’s logos and visuals, as contained within the official WSF player, remain untouched and unedited.
- NonCommercial: That the material is not used (in whole or in part) for commercial purposes.
- NonDerivative: That the material is not altered in any way (“edited,” “remixed,” “cut,” etc.), or that it is built upon or incorporated into other media.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all videos on WSF are the copyrighted property of the Science Festival Foundation (d/b/a “World Science Festival”). Distribution of this copyrighted material is strictly limited to the terms described above. The above conditions can be modified only with explicit written permission by the copyright holder. World Science Festival reserves the right to limit any uses that are inconsistent with its educational mission.
