Meet Wendy Suzuki
Wendy Suzuki is a neuroscientist who studies a special area of the brain called the hippocampus. It’s small compared to other brain regions, but it plays a pivotal role in memory and spatial navigation. Suzuki specifically studies how exercise has been shown to promote brain growth in this area. She talks about the event that made her excited about neuroscience, and gives the audience a chance to share in the same excitement.
