Curing the Aging Brain
If one could live to a thousand years, but 850 of those years would be spent in the throes of advanced Alzheimer’s disease, there wouldn’t be much of a point to it. This is why longevity scientists like Leonard Guarente and Aubrey de Grey stress that medicine has to fix the ailments of an aging brain as well as those of the aging body.
