“We’re all facing barriers in our life.” Stem cell researcher Elaine Fuchs, one of the World Science Festival’s Pioneers in Science, speaking with students from around the world, imparts her own passion for science and the barriers she faces in her research. She believes it is important to see barriers as part of a long road to success, and draws from the excitement that her research could lead to life-saving medical advances and a better understanding of human biology in general.
