From expert sharpshooters to ensuring a woman’s right to vote across the country, Hirsch’s family has always pushed explored their respective frontiers, and pushed the boundaries set upon women of their era. Now, instead of looking outwards, Joy Hirsch is gazing inwards, into the workings of one of our least known frontiers: the human brain.
