Emma TainterDevelopment Coordinator
Emma Tainter is currently the Development Coordinator at the World Science Festival where she works with the development team to manage the membership program and provide support for fundraising efforts.
Previously, Emma completed a three-month term at the American Conservation Experience as an AmeriCorps Member where she worked with the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to complete conservation projects throughout Arizona. Prior to American Conservation Experience, Emma spent three summers at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival working for the Festival Marketplace. During her time at College, Emma spent three years at the Muscarelle Museum of Art’s Development Department as an intern, and then her senior year as a McIntyre Fellow. As a Fellow, she assisted with the Museum’s membership program and management of social media and other online communications.
Emma graduated from the College of William & Mary in May 2017 with a B.A. in History and Marketing. In her free time, Emma enjoys hiking and playing violin in community orchestras.
