What is the World Science Festival?
The World Science Festival gathers great minds in science and the arts to produce live and digital content that allows a broad general audience to engage with scientific discoveries. Through discussions, debates, theatrical works, interactive explorations, musical performances, intimate salons, and major outdoor experiences, the festival takes science out of the laboratory and into the streets, parks, museums, galleries and premier performing arts venues of New York City and beyond.

How do I purchase tickets for the 2019 World Science Festival?
Tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day/7 days a week on our website or by calling 888.611.8183, Monday-Saturday, 9AM-9PM or Sunday from 9am-8pm.
Can I purchase tickets in person?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the NYU Skirball Box Office located at 566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square, Tuesday-Saturday, 12-6pm.
Can I purchase tickets in person the day of an event?
Yes. Box offices at each venue are open at least 1 hour before doors open for the event. Valid at NYU venues and Gerald W. Lynch Theater only.
Can I purchase tickets in person for sold-out events?
Yes. Standby lines form at the box office for sold-out events 1 hour prior to the event start time. In the case that additional tickets become available, they are sold on a first come, first served basis. Valid at NYU venues and Gerald W. Lynch Theater only.

Will you send me my ticket by mail?
Tickets will not be mailed. Please present your email confirmation at Will Call the day of your event. We recommend arriving early for check-in.
Do you offer any student discounts?
Yes. We offer a student discount to the majority of our events for all University and College students with a valid student ID. Once on sale, tickets will be available to purchase online on our website. Please note that additional discounts are not applicable to student tickets.
Do you offer any group discounts?
We are currently not offering any group discounts. If you are interested in receiving group rates and information for future events, please contact our development department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you allow refunds or exchanges?
Yes, refunds and exchanges are permitted up to 24 hours prior to an event start time.
Can my child attend events that aren’t specified as Youth and Family?
Children may attend any event where there is no age limit specified at the parent’s discretion as long as a ticket is purchased for the child.
