WORLD SCIENCE ACADEMY: INTRODUCTION TO PRECISION MEDICINE

Wednesday, October 24, 2018 - Thursday, November 8, 2018

Imagine doctors being able to look at individuals and determine treatments or cures based on their specific genetic code. Scientists are doing just that in the burgeoning field of precision medicine. In this program, high school students meet geneticists, biostatistician, physicians, genetic counselors, and others to learn how research and technology are being used to revolutionize how we treat disease and improve people’s health.
