Catherine Hartley

Neuroscientist

Catherine Hartley is an assistant professor of Psychology. She holds a PhD in Psychology from New York University and a BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University. Her research examines how learning and decision-making change as the brain develops from childhood to adulthood using diverse approaches including neuroimaging, psychophysiology, and computational modeling. Her research has received support from the National Science Foundation, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the American Psychological Foundation, the Jacobs Foundation, and the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. Hartley is the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship in Neuroscience, the Jacobs Foundation Early Career Fellowship, and the Association for Psychological Science Janet Taylor Spence Award.
