Dean Buonomano

Neurobiologist, Author

Dean Buonomano is a leading expert on how the brain tells time. His research also focuses on neurocomputation, and the neural basis of learning and memory. A professor of neurobiology and psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, Buonomano is the author of the book Brain Bugs: How the Brain’s Flaws Shape Our Lives. In which he explores the causes and consequences of the brain’s flaws. He is a member of the Brain Research Institute and Integrative Center for Learning and Memory at UCLA.
