Naïma Azough

Naïma Azough is an author, editor, documentary filmmaker and a former member of parliament. She studied English, German and International Relations at the Universities of Antwerp and Amsterdam. Subsequently, she developed programs for De Balie, IKON and the Royal Tropical Institute, among others. She has served as a board member for the women development fund Mama Cash and for the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds. Until 2010, Azough was a member of parliament for GroenLinks.
