Susan Schneider

Philosopher, Cognitive Scientist
Susan Schneider is the 2019 Distinguished Scholar at the Library of Congress and the Director of the AI, Mind and Society (AIMS) Group at the University of Connecticut. She writes about the fundamental nature of the self and mind, especially from the vantage point of issues in philosophy of mind, AI, astrobiology, metaphysics and cognitive science. Discussions of her work have appeared in venues like The New York Times, Wired, Science, Big Think, Nautilus, Smithsonian, Discover, and PBS.
