Dear Members of the World Science Festival Community:
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the live event portion of this year’s festival, originally scheduled for May 27-31, in New York City, is cancelled. We anticipate shifting a number of these programs into online productions, which we will distribute through our YouTube channel as well as our website. We will keep you informed as these become available in the coming months.
As an organization dedicated to the power of science to inform decisions essential to the health and well-being of life and the planet, we emphasize in the strongest terms that we must be unrelenting in seeking and widely distributing evidence-based and research-driven directives regarding how to deal with the current crisis. Analysis, data, and medical expertise—not misinformation and wishful thinking—will see us through.
