James BourtisWorld Science Scholars Manager

James Bourtis joined the WSF Education Team in 2022 where he has grown the World Science Scholars Program and overseen its pair of live festivals. He found himself at WSF after serving as a teaching fellow for Brian Greene while at Columbia University, where he graduated with degrees in Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science. James was born and raised in Rochester, New York and is an avid fencer who travels with the US National Team.
