James Gleick

Author

James Gleick is the author of several bestselling books about science and technology and their cultural implications. His first, Chaos: Making a New Science, made the Butterfly Effect a household word; his latest The Information, won awards for both science writing and history. His biographies of Richard Feynman and Isaac Newton were both shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize. He is a native New Yorker and worked for a decade as an editor, science reporter, and columnist for The New York Times.
