Casie Parish Fisher

Forensic Science Professor
Casie Parish Fisher is a tenured associate professor and director of the Forensic Science Program and Chair of the Criminal Justice Department at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She has been awarded for outstanding teaching and recognized for innovative teaching. Dr. Parish Fisher also works as an adjunct instructor and biological expert for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). She conducts numerous training courses and assists with curriculum development and review. Parish Fisher received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Science from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She has a Master of Science degree in DNA Profiling, and PhD in Forensic and Investigative Sciences (Forensic Genetics) from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, England. Her ultimate research goal is to help bridge the field-work conducted in crime scene investigations and DNA analysis. Parish Fisher is an author who has published and co-authored a number of books.
