Christine Constantinople
Neuroscientist
Christine Constantinople is a neuroscientist interested in how we make decisions, and the neural mechanisms of suboptimal decision-making and behavioral variability. She is an assistant professor at the Center for Neural Science at New York University. Her lab uses high-throughput training of rats and develops behavioral paradigms to probe systematic decision biases described in behavioral economics. The goal of her laboratory is to leverage the powerful tools available in neuroscience to manipulate and monitor neural circuits, to identify the neural dynamics that are responsible for psychological phenomena described in behavioral economics, and uncover the brain mechanisms that produce those dynamics.
